What Happened to Our republic?
After the Civil War, both the North and the South were bankrupt. In their exhaustion, the people allowed a foreign-financed corporate structure — the UNITED STATES — to replace the original government. Our states and counties never completed the lawful reconstruction that was required to reestablish self-governance. And so the war flag still flies, courts still operate under maritime jurisdiction, and the American people live under the illusion of freedom, when in fact they are contractually entangled in statutory servitude.
But it’s not too late to change course.
